Today, our due date, has nearly come and gone. And keeping the tradition alive, there is no baby in our arms yet and nothing at all happening that might make us think it could happen soon.
These are long days for me.
I have quit calling people, because the hopeful sound in their voice when they answer has become unbearable. People have stopped calling me, probably because they know we'll let them know when we have exciting news to share and they think they are bothering me by calling. You aren't bothering me! You're helping me get through these last, eternal days! Instead of calling, just come on over! I need company!
We know, I know, that all this is in God's perfect timing. We trust that He is in control, that how it plays out will be for His glory, and that He loves us while we continue to wait. Please join us in praying that the baby continues to be healthy as we now step into PAST DUE days. Pray that an induction, if needed, will work the first time around. Please also pray that baby would be able to tolerate all the meds needed to induce labor. Thanks for checking in! I'll post again after my doctor appointment tomorrow. Love you all!
