While Lige was out of town for the day, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to craft up another Pinterest idea. On the docket today: Homemade Sidewalk chalk.

(Note to self, and anyone still interested in trying this even after my flop-
the above website has much better instructions than what I used today. I
learned that after the fact. There's a little trick called "wax paper"
that the other instructions failed to mention.)
Why, yes, that IS a paper towel cemented to my muffin tin.
I had to throw away my muffin tin.
Even Isaac was frustrated trying to get the silly cardboard off the "chalk".
If you don't mind large bits of remaining cardboard tubing along the outside of your chalk, these pieces still work. Here's how I know:
We will try these again. With the better instructions. And the wax paper. We can't forget about the wax paper!
