Church Camp

Something new and fun for the (big) girls this summer was church camp.  They were so excited to go.  We were able to sign them up to go together- same cabin and everything.  Since it was their first time, it was a relief to all of us that they were in the same group.

They had a blast!  It was only a 2 night/barely-3-day camp, but they packed a ton of really fun activities into that amount of time.  Here's a partial list:
Swimming, horse riding, campfires, obstacle course, lessons, story time, crafts, and worship time.
Both girls loved the obstacle course they got to do with their cabin mates.  It was a fun team building activity where they had to really help one another through different obstacles.  A favorite obstacle had to do with swinging through mud!

The girls came home with some great memories and some new friends.  They are already looking forward to going again next year.

I was able to snag a couple pictures before we said good-bye.  They were playing a name game with their cabin mates and cabin leader, so they are action shots...well, Amana happens to be posing.  (where does she get that from?!)
