I love when school can be more than paper and pencil and sitting in a desk. We do school in desks, at the kitchen table, on the floor, and in our cool brown swivel-rockers. Today it was actually behind the brown swivel-rockers.
Can you guess why? These pictures are clues as well as cute!

Yep, we had a puppet show!
- First we read the familiar tale of "The Three Little Pigs".
- After that I sent the girls outside to find small twigs for sticks, dried grass for straw, and small lava rocks for bricks.
- When they came inside with their goodies, I had the puppet-making supplies set out. We each made a different pig from the story. I had fun making the Big Bad Wolf the night before.
- They didn't really need time with the script, so I sent them behind the chair to wait for Daddy. A really nice perk about Daddy's new schedule: he gets to watch impromtu puppet shows during school hours. :)
