Amana turned 7 last week, and I can't believe how the time has flown! We celebrated kind of low key, going out to dinner then presents and cake at home. This year Amana really wanted a Crown Cake, so I did my best to come up with one. I even used the "jewels" from 3 ring pops to complete the look. I think she was pleased. :)
The high-light for Amana was definitely when the wait staff at Applebee's came over and sang a Happy Birthday song. My little darling LOVES the lime light and it was fun to indulge her on her special day.
Seven Things to Love About My Seven Year Old:
- Amana is an incredible help in every way.
Amana is sappy and emotional and dramatic- just like her mama!
She draws the best pictures and usually gives them away as gifts.
Amana has a very innocent and naive spirit which we plan to protect in her for as long as possible.
She is a feircely loyal and loving friend.
Amana loves to sing and make-up her own songs.
She loves to read her new Bible and we pray it will be a life-long love.
