Harrison turns 2!

Harrison had a low key birthday this past Monday. He played hard with his sisters outside all morning, took a 5 hour nap, then woke up with a fever...yuck. Our typically happy, hungry boy turned down pizza and cake and didn't want anything to do with his presents. Thankfully, he felt better about 40 minutes after the Tylenol kicked in.

Thanks to a suggestion from our good friend, Sarah, we
got Harrison a Little Tikes basketball hoop. He had played with one at Sarah's house earlier this spring, and she told us how much fun he had. We got it for him, and it did not disappoint! Thanks for the GREAT idea, Sarah!

I have to tell you, he's acutally pretty good at shooting hoops for a two year old! We were amazed at his use of the backboard and his one handed shots! He's pretty short, but maybe he'll have some speed!

It's hard to believe our sweet boy is already 2. He's been talking up a storm. He continually askes, "what's that?" When you tell him the answer, he tries the word. Tonight at dinner he was singing, "Macaroooonie! Macaroooonie!" He loves to play outside with his sisters, as long as Max is chained up out of reach. The girls made him a mud cake for his birthday! Thankfully he didn't try to eat it! We are so blessed by our rough and tumble little man. He is such a joy!
