Harrison Boy

Harrison has been changing so much in the past few weeks. I thought I'd share a few of his cool new things.
He loves to talk. All day long he says, "mom, what's that?" As soon as I tell him, he tries it out like a question: "A dishpasher?" (dishwasher) We do this at least 10 times a day with many different kinds of things!
He is in love with trains. He can hear them from 10 miles away and gets so excited to tell us about them. "Choo Choo! Mommy, Choo Choo Train! It's coming!" He has also been turning everything into a train. Today at lunch he was pushing his peanut butter sandwich around the table yelling, "Chugga Chugga Choo Choo!"
Speaking of peanut butter, he loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He eats 2 every time. As soon as he sees the bread he squeals with delight, "Butter Jam!" Today he sang it again and again as he ate (with Chugga Choo choo thrown in several times!)
Lige and the girls have been fishing several times this month. Harrison is enthralled with all the fishing gear and the idea of fishing. Any mention of it and he puts his hands out and says, "Big fishy!"
On our way to and from Kearney we pass a lot of cows. On a particularly stinky day, Amana plugged her nose and said, "Eww, it's so gross." Now everytime we see cows, Harrison yells out, "EWWWW cows! Dat's 'tinky ga-wose!"
I think we've been watching too much TV because Harrison has started saying, "It's over, over Mommy," when he sees credits rolling up the screen!
Obviously we yell at Max a lot, too, because Harrison screamed, "MAX, sit down!" yesterday.
Harrison runs and jumps and climbs like a genuine boy! He throws balls and anything that could be used as a ball. We haven't had toy guns at our house yet, but he found one at a friend's house this weekend, picked it up and started shooting it at me, with full sound effects of course! Honestly, you don't have to teach them to be boys! He is harder on everything than the girls are. And don't you dare give him a sippy cup anymore...He wants a real cup, no lid, but maybe a straw if you've got one!
He is so much fun! He makes us laugh and smile and sigh. The girls have Vacation Bible School all next week and half the week after, and I am really looking forward to some real one-on-one time with my boy. I think it will be fun for both of us!
