Party Time!

Thanks to all of you, Harrison had a wonderful birthday party. The weather was beautiful and the company delightful! It really meant a lot to us for all of you to come all the way to Minden for the party. We do understand that the journey to get here was part of the gift, and we are very grateful.

Moving on, we had a funny conversation with Amana last night. This weekend she received a new diary kit including a diary, key, pen, and a notebook key-chain. She loves to write and draw so this was the perfect gift. We told the girls to get ready for bed, but Amana was writing. She said, "Let me finish writing in my diarrhea first." We held in our giggles, and with as small a smile as we could manage, we asked her to finish up and get into bed! I love how their little minds take new information and try to fit it in with what they already know! Sometimes they surprise us at how quickly they assimilate new information. Other times they ask if they can finish writing in their diarrhea!
