Bravo! Bravo!

Lige and I have always loved music. We love to sing it and I love to dance to it. So it should not surprise you that we have made music a part of the lives of our children. When other families might be playing outside or watching tv, the Reed Clan are found dancing and singing in the living room. This afternoon was no exception. With a Disney's Best Hits CD blaring, the Reed girls were singing and dancing around the living room, mom included.

Harrison received a hand made toy box for his birthday, lovingly made by Lige's dad. It's hanging out in the living room since there's not much room in the kids' bedrooms. The girls have turned it into their stage. Amana was up there singing away and Anlynn and I were dancing around. Until, that is, Amana interupts us saying, "Guys, can you move? I can't see the mirror." Sure enough, my eldest had placed herself perfectly in front of the mirror on the other side of the room!

Those of you who know me well, really well, will understand my complete and utter pride in my Amana girl! While I was admiring my own sweet dance moves in the big mirror on the south wall, Amana had managed to find another mirror to strut her stuff in front of! You should have seen her: she was putting on a real show for herself! When the song ended she looked over at Anlynn and I and said, "Now throw me flowers and tell me BRAVO!" Like mother-like daughter!
