Kitties!

It was pretty hard to get decent pictures, but I tried my best.  Here's the first look at our newest farm babies!

We have three kitties: 2 grey and 1 black with a dark brown spot on it's rump.  We have left them pretty much alone with Mama, so we do not yet know if they are male or female.  Since it was a small litter, I think we will keep all of them.  Unless one of you out there were in the market for a new cat....Sandy, I'm thinking maybe you! In then next few weeks the kids will be playing with them a lot more, the hope being that they will be mighty mouse hunters, but still sweet and cuddly outdoor pets.

We continue to be Dog People.  We do not consider ourselves Cat People at all.  We have cats out of necessity: rodent control on the farm. But we have to admit that there's something wonderful and awe-inspiring about new life and motherhood, no matter the species.  And tiny critters are a delight to children young and old!
