For those of you who may have been concerned about my fainting episode, take heart! After urgings from several of you, I called the doctor yesterday and they suggested I come in just to check things out. I went this afternoon and everything looks good. We heard baby's heart beat, always a treat and a blessing. My blood pressure and weight were right on track. Doctor said in pregnancy, our blood's priority is below the neck. So anytime there is pain or cramping, like my diarhea cramps, blood rushes from the head to aid in pain management. Since everthing looked good and I hadn't experienced any addtional episodes of either fainting or stomach cramps, the doctor opted not to do any additional testing. He did tell me not to stand in one position too long, like at the check out line of a grocery store, because the blood can pool leaving me light-headed. That finally explains why I've never been able to stand through Praise and Worship time at church during ANY of my pregnancies!
