Just two quick little things...
Anlynn had a stomache bug last week. After she was feeling a little better, I asked her if her tummy was still upset. Thankfully, she said no. Later that day, though, she said, "Um, Mommy, my tummy is angry." Funny how a 3 year old would confuse "upset" tummy with an "angry" tummy. We thought her mix-up was pretty cute!
Secondly, during family devotion time each evening, we've been asking each of the kids to pray...including little Harrison. The girls have often prayed silly, random prayers, but they've also prayed some very timely and profound prayers that have humbled their parents. The other night was all about Harrison, though. He prayed, "God, Thank you. Bye. Amen." So sweet, was his first coherent prayer! Obviously, however, it sounded more like, "Gaw, tee-chew. Bye! Ah-maw!" I love that even though he is still so young, when we say, "Let's pray," he puts his little hands together. I love that our girls know they can trust God with everything, even if it's random. I love how the girls often remember to pray for people or situations that we might not have on our mind right then. And I love hearing them pray for each other. The same night Harrison prayed, Amana prayed for him, saying, "God, I pray for Harrison. He is so precious and he makes my heart happy." And Anlynn prayed, "I pray for Amana 'cause I love her." Can anything else melt a parent's heart like that?!
