Mommy and Anlynn will play! Amana was able to spend the past several days with my parents, doing who-knows-what kind of fun things. So Anlynn and mommy have had a really fun time-just the two of us (when Harrison was taking a nap!).
By far, the best thing was our Tea Party today. Yes, we do full-costume tea parties at this house, mommy included! We even let Maggie join us!
We are having a housefull of people tomorrow for Thanksgiving, so the tea party landed between cleaning and preparing food. Of all the days to have a tea party, today was the worst because of all I need to get done. But I love my Anlynn so much and had promised her a tea party. I am grateful that I didn't cut corners during it (like foregoing the dress). It will be an extra special memory!
A special little Anlynn story: Lige just gave me an iPod Nano for my birthday with a stereo dock. Anlynn pointed to it today and said, "I want to play with your new pink dance phone." Can you tell we dance a lot at our house?!
