A Fawn-See Paw-tay

Amana had the fun opportunity to go to a friend's birthday party today. It was held at our Minden Coffee House and it had a "Fancy Nancy" theme. All the little girls dressed up in their fanciest get-ups! They were all adorable! Here's a picture of Amana with her friends sitting for story time.

While at the party, they learned how to talk fancy (Fawn-seee!) You should have heard these little ladies trying! They also practiced walking fancy and posing fancy. They had yummy cupcakes at a decorated table with placecards and everything. Every girl came home with a decorated crown, necklaces and a purse! Amana had taken her own purse and almost refused the new one because of it, but once the mother explanied quite fancily, "A lady can't have too many purses," Amana, being a young lady, gladly accepted the new purse!

Here are a couple pictures of Amana after the party. Can you tell how she's posing "fancy"?! I love it!
"Fancy Nancy" is a series of children's book about a fancy girl named, you guessed it, Nancy! Perhaps Amana would like a book or two for Chirstmas!
