Okay, Okay, so I'm totally BLOG happy today! I must be trying to cram as many posts into October as possible!
I thought I would post a couple pictures from Anlynn's preschool party. They painted pumpkins, decorated and ate cookies, danced to "Monster Mash", and listened to a couple stories. It was fun and I was glad to be there for the festivities!

Anlynn and her friend Megan painting their donated pumpkins and enjoying their cookies (Anlynn's is a wheat-free chocolate chip. The other mom helping made all the other kids chocolate chip cookies, too, instead of the typical sugar, so that Anlynn wouldn't feel left out. It was very thoughtful, especially after a snack incident a couple weeks ago...that's another story!).

And since it is still my birthday, I thought I'd also share some birthday sweetness from my kids today. After preschool I announced that since it was my birthday, we were going to order pizza for lunch. (don't worry, we order Anlynn "Pizza in a can"...it's the sauce, meat and cheese in a small aluminum cake plate! She named it herself and enjoys having her own pizza. A big thanks to Pizza Hut for accomodating us!) Anyway, when the pizza arrived, Amana says, "Mom, I have a really great idea. You put your pizza on a plate and I'll put a candle in it for your birthday!" How could I say no?! When she found the candles, she says, "Um, how about if we just put
one candle on because I don't think we're going to have enough." Thank you, Amana. I know I am old! She posed with me for the picture (posers of course), and Anlynn ducked out right at the last second (contrary of course)! I'm having a great birthday!
