I might not love rain and snow, but I definitely LOVE Wednesdays! This is our one day a week where we don't have anything except homeschooling all day until after dinner. I usually use the day to catch up on laundry or something. But today I promised myself to spend the day doing fun stuff with the kids.
I told them at bedtime last night that when they got up, they could bring books into my room in the morning for a cozy story time. Before their door even opened, I heard Amana say, "Get your books Anlynn! Mommy said we could read in her bed today!"
Since Lige is gone for a few days, I've set up a scrapbooking station in the living room. Of course the kids are drawn to it like a moth to a flame! Instead of yipping at them all day to keep their mitts off mommy's stuff, I let them make a page themselves. 
What better way to use up less than perfect pictures that I just can't throw away! Not to mention the stickers I've had for 5 years and haven't used!
Harrison wasn't actually working on his own page, but he thought it was fun to smile for the camera! He has turned into a real ham and camera hog! Monday I was taking pictures of the kids. Once I snapped one, the kids wanted to look at it. As soon as he was done looking, Harrison stepped back, raised his chin and grinned the biggest, toothiest grin as if to say, "I'm ready for my close up now!" He must get it from Lige! Tee-Hee!
