Are pigs finally arrived two weeks ago. There was a brief discussion of us actually housing them at our property this year, but it's worked out better to keep them at the Lundeen's again this summer. We have plans to visit them at least once a week and work with them.
This first visit was to meet the piggies and begin to tame them. Half were fairly easy going, and the other half were a little spunky! They'd jump and run away as fast as they could!
This is Harrison's first year to show a pig. He is super excited. I'm certain he already has his "pig money" spent!
Lucy and Isaac have absolutely no fear of pigs, since they've been exposed to them the past two years. Lucy jumped right in and couldn't wait to pet the piggies!
Isaac just loves to get dirty and be wild and risky, so pig wrangling is right up his alley.
The piggies, like these kids, will keep on growing in the weeks to come.
