In April we had our annual AWANA Awards Night. The kids get up and sing a few songs, share a few bible verses, receive awards for completing their AWANA books.
This photo sums up Lucy's attitude during the program...a little mix between overwhelmed and over it!
Isaac told us he had stage fright so he was only "lip singing" during the program. Also, it appeared that he wasn't interested in doing any of the hand actions. However, the skillful eye of this mama found that he actually DID all of the motions...just at his side!
Harrison and Anlynn had small speaking parts that they signed up for. Harrison is always a willing and brave kid.
Anlynn is pretty brave, too, but she got to do her part with a friend and that made it a lot easier.
Amana graduated out of AWANA last year, but she wasn't finished with AWANA. She volunteered each week in the Cubies class with Lucy. She took it very seriously, was a huge help to the adults, and the kids all loved her!
