Preschool Boy

There has been one excited little boy in our house for the past few weeks. Harrison has been counting down the days until he started preschool! Today was finally the first day, and boy was he ready! He couldn't wait till it was time to strap on his new Transformer backpack filled with school supplies and head off to preschool. Thankfully, I was able to stop him for a few First Day of School pictures. After a few shots, Harrison was exasperated with me. "We gotta to, Mom," he said to me as he marched to the Excursion! Here he is with his teacher, Miss Cindi. She is the same teacher that both Amana and Anlynn had.

Lige will be the one to take him to preschool most days. Today, however, I got to take him for two reasons. 1. I am his mom, and I wanted to be there for this milestone! 2. Lige is helping a farmer from our church today and wasn't going to be available. Daddy called to talk to Harrison right before lunch to tell him to have a good day and that Daddy was praying for him. I got to take him, help him hang his backpack in the right spot, and made sure he found a puzzle and a friend before I left him. Isaac tried to grab a puzzle and stay, too, but I scooped him up and out we went!

I can't wait to hear all about his first day and what he learned. I can't believe my little boy is in preschool already!
