Homemade Pudding Pops with Harrison

It's not often in a house with four children, that I get one-on-one time with one of them while the others are home. But today worked perfectly for some Harrison and Mommy time. Since the girls were busy cleaning their room (or were supposed to be cleaning), Harrison and mommy made Homemade Pudding Pops. Well, Isaac was in the kitchen with us, but he didn't really participate in the popsicle making. Except to make sure they tasted okay! :) Here we are getting it all mixed together.
Harrison had the important job of putting foil on each pudding-filled cup and sticking in the popsicle sticks. He did a great job.

Here are our treats ready for the freezer. We are hoping they will be ready in time for an after dinner treat.

All you need for this simple treat is a box of instant pudding, 2 cups of milk, 1 cup of Cool Whip, 12 little cups and 12 popsicle sticks. Mix the pudding, milk, and Cool Whip in a bowl. Spoon into cups. Stick in the popsicle sticks. We used the foil to keep the popsicle sticks in place.

It was a delightful time with Harrison. I like spending time with my kids one-on-one, but sometimes it's hard to accomplish that on a regular basis. It was fun to see how capable Harrison was, how excited he was to work with me, how well he listened to and followed the directions, and how pleased he was with our finished projects.

Thank you, Lord, for this special time with my oldest son. Help me take advantage of more moments like this with each of my children.

We'll let you know how they turn out! I'm hoping for YUMMY!
