A Snow Day!

Since most of the state of Nebraska has had a similar fate, these snow pictures aren't too surprising. But it's fun for me to compare. For some odd reason, ever since I was little I would watch the weather, and when they compared Omaha to Lincoln or other surrounding communities, I would always hope Omaha would "win". If they were comparing high temps, I would want Omaha to be the hottest. If it was wind chill, I would want it to be coldest in Omaha. You get the crazy picture. I still do that as an adult, but now I want Minden to "win". And compared to Omaha and Lincoln, I think it's a runaway! Lige measured our sidewalk before we went to bed last night: 9 inches and still snowing! The view from our front door
The view from our back door

Another view from our back door! (My favorite view!)
I was planning to do school and THEN let them play in the snow. However, they were so wound up, I caved and sent them bundled-up to play.

Harrison, especially, was excited to make snow angels

And this is how I like to spend MY snow days! :)
How are you spending yours?
