It's a very "Woody" summer around our house. Harrison loves all things Toy Story. Here he is with his new Woody figure and his new DVDs. He has a Buzz Lightyear costume that he loves to wear around the house. We have to snicker when he says, "I'm
Bud Lite Beer!" Well, at least that's what it
sounds like! He's going on a special outing tonight with Aunt Sandy to see Toy Story 3. I think it might just be the highlight of his life!
Isaac boy is now 10 months old...hard to believe, I know! His favorite summer pastime is swinging. He loves being outside and he loves watching the other kids run around and play. I'm sure he's counting down the days until he can take off after them! He pulls up, cruises, and stands alone. He thinks he can walk, but he can't yet, and that usually explains the bumps and bruises he's sporting. He is the sweetest, most easy-going child. He is a dream. :)
Anlynn continues her love affair with water this summer. We don't really go to the pool much (one mommy and four kids under 7? Um, no thanks!), but she loves the sprinkler and splash parks. She is a wild, free-spirited little girl. She does everything BIG!
This is a picture of some flooding at the end of our block recently. Might explain the flooding in our basement, yah think? Thanks to Lige and my dad, the north end of the basement is being gutted, scrubbed, and sealed this week. Not exactly how we intended to spend the week, but at least the kids and I got an unexpected trip to O-town! Even with an extra week here, I don't get to see everyone and do everything I would like to. But it's a treat anyway.
And our Amana girl. Yes, she's posing for this picture. :) I guess "candid" is something the two of us just don't understand! This was taken at our lake. Okay, so we don't own it, but it kind of feels that way! It's been such a fun blessing to spend time there together. This is shaping up to be a very outdoors-y summer for us. Fishing: yep! Fire pit: several times! Camping (all 6 of us with 1 dog): Oh yeah, we've done that! We ahve a big camping trip coming up soon. We get to hit the mountains. I can NOT WAIT!
