I know this is a little hard to make out, but try to look closely. One of Amana's most favorite things to do is to draw us pictures and write us letters. This is one she made for me yesterday.
If you look close enough, you'll find a stable. And inside you'll see Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus laying in a manger. You'll also see a sky full of stars, and the best 5 year old moon in the world.
In a holiday season that can confuse kids by mixing Santa and stockings and Jesus and 3 wise men, it was a joy to see that Amana, in this moment, chose to focus on the King of Kings and Prince of Peace.
"11.For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger." Luke 2:11-12
