Here are some pictures of cucumber and zuccini from our garden.
Since we are pretty "green" when it comes to gardening, we recently made a big gardening "oops"! Knowing that the watermelon was the biggest food we were growing, we wrongly assumed it would be grown on the biggest plant in the garden. A couple of weeks ago, when we saw what we thought was a cute little watermelon, we let that puppy grow! And then a few days ago, Lige found what was really the watermelon plant attached with a cute little round watermelon...very much a watermelon. We were perplexed. So Lige picked what we thought was becoming a very large, juicy watermelon. Yep, it was a zuccini! About a head shy of being as tall as Harrison! Needless to say, we'll never mistake the zuccini plant for the watermelon plant again! The giant grilled zuccini was actually quite delicious, even though they say they taste better when they're only about 6 inches long!
