We just wrapped up another wrestling season. Harrison had a great season and a great time!
I was continually surprised by the amount of progress Harrison made since last year. My five year old son has some real moves and knows how to use them!
Harrison competed in 5 or 6 meets this year. I like that we can participate in as many or as few as we choose. Harrison usually wrestled in a 4-man bracket. In all of his meets, he finished either first or second! I like that he's a scrappy little wrestler.
Lige was an official coach this year. He helped with practice, built relationships with other young wrestlers and their parents, as well as worked hard to help Harrison improve. I would usually sit in the stands to watch, but Lige was always found with Harrison on the mat waiting his turn. I love their relationship!
Harrison with a buddy after their first meet of the season. We told them to "look tough" for the picture and this is what they came up with! Ha!
Harrison's favorite pose.
And this little fella is ready for next year! Having watched his brother for 2 seasons, he's ready to hit the mat himself.
