For Christmas my grandparents got us this very cute donut maker. I wanted one so badly that I tried to get Anlynn to ask for it for Christmas, to guarantee us getting one...she had other things in mind! So guess how excited I was when I opened up this beauty on Christmas Eve!
One of the biggest reasons I wanted a donut maker is because I feel so bad that Anlynn can't have donuts. We have found some gluten free ones, but they are up to $8 for six donuts and we don't always have them on hand. We have made donuts several times since Christmas and all but one batch have been gluten free! I love that the other kids enjoy them just as much as Anlynn.
It makes 6 mini donuts at a time. Four minutes later they are ready to cool for a bit.
Then you can doctor them up any way you choose. This was what we did on Saturday:
We've made plain, powdered sugar, chocolate on chocolate, plain with chocolate, and who doesn't love sprinkles?! It's so fun! Thank you again, Grandma and Grandpa!!
