Isaac's Birthday- Turning Five

The kids and I spent the week of Isaac's birthday in Omaha house-sitting and dog-sitting for my parents.  On Tuesday, Isaac's birthday, Lige drove up to spend the day with us.  We had fun together at the zoo.

 Later that evening we opened gifts and had cake and ice cream to celebrate.

Happy to be five!

 Isaac loved opening his gifts (of course) and especially loved the drag racer from mom and dad.

 After presents, it was cake and ice cream time!  Big Grandma made a yummy red velvet cake and brought Dairy Queen ice cream!

 Five Fun Facts about Isaac at 5:

1. Isaac loves to figure out how things work, especially if it means taking something apart!

2.  Isaac makes the most intriguing correlations...he is really bright.

3.  Even though he just turned five, he is ready and willing to start school...so he did!

4.  Isaac loves cars and legos.

5.  Isaac gives the best "neck hugs" and is pretty generous with them.  :)
