Kittie Update and a Game

The kitties are now 7 weeks old and doing well.  They have been adventuring outside of the garage this week, causing much fret to their human.  Wednesday they were all lost...nowhere to be found.  I was so sad and wandered around the property meowing for them.  I am THAT lady!  I still hate cats, but little lost kitties makes me sad.  Thankfully, I was able to find them all together just north of our chicken barn.  It was a happy reunion.  They have stayed closer to the house and garage since.  :)

This kid makes me so happy.  Harrison is such a creative and inventive boy.  We have some corn kernels around the house for fall decorations.  The kids have used them for all sorts of things from counting to throwing at one another.  Harrison came up with a game for me today.  He gave us each a pile of kernels.  The object was to toss one kernel at the pile then remove any kernels scattered from the pile.  Take turns and the first one to scatter all the kernels is the winner.  I love this guy so much.  He can take something so simple and turn it into 30 minutes of fun with mom and dad.  I won, by the way. ;)
