Snow Ice Cream

What can you do with 10 inches of snow blanketing the countryside?  I don't really know, but we used one bowlful to make snow ice cream!  My kids beg for it any time they see the tiniest flurry in the sky.  How disappointing for them when it melts as it hits the ground.  This time, however, we were able to scoop up plenty of the white stuff.

With Amana manning the can opener and Anlynn manning the camera, we got started.  (Please overt your eyes from my hideous, yet oh-so comfy-cozy pajama pants!)

Our camera has a manual zoom...something a little too advanced for Anlynn at the moment.  I focused it the best I could and told her where to stand.  However, she just couldn't resist this money shot...and it would have been perfect if it was in focus!
