- My children have taken a liking to The Quiet Game. I'm not the one who taught them how to play, but sometimes this is my favorite game! Especially after a busy day in Kearney and we're on our way home. Last weekend we were on our way home and Amana suggested we play it. Does it surprise anyone that SHE would love this game?! She wins almost everytime...usually because I forget that we're even "playing" and take advantage of the quiet to share some important tid-bit with Lige! So we kept starting the game, and Harrison kept losing. Finally he just says, "I don't like the quiet game. I wanna play The Loud Game. One, two, three-GO! AHHHH!"
- Amana has her first celebrity crush. The Olympic Gold Medal Snowboarder Shaun White. With our cool "new" Playstation, we also purchased the Shaun White Snowboarding game. Amana and Lige were racing last weekend, and Amana was really doing well. Lige said after several losses, "Wow, you're smokin' me, Amana!" They continued to race until bedtime. As Amana wound up the controller she says, "Man, my thumb is smokin'!"
- We were at a restaurant at the mall tonight. Harrison saw a man come in wearing a cowboy hat. He shouts and points, "Hey, there's a cowboy!" Which we were thinking was funny enough, until he follows it loudly with, "Hey, cowboy, YeeeHaw!!!"
Well, those are the things I can remember this late at night. If I think of more, I'll write again!
